"In the Midnight Hour" is a piece that is inspired by Madonna's Hit song, "Like a Prayer". In this painting, the Saint is advocating for the safety of all queer and trans people worldwide. He reminds everyone that LGBTQ+ people have a place in this world, despite many saying otherwise. Just as the light needs the darkness, he reminds us that we cannot be removed because humanity needs us. In many cultures, midnight is seen as a liminal time when the veil is at its thinnest and spirits can reach us. This is the point where the previous day meets the upcoming day, and they exist together in harmony. His greatest wish is for humanity to coexist in the same way.
